The submersible pump used in the equipment requires a 12V DC electrical power supply and is CE marked by its manufacturer. As the equipment is powered by 12V DC, it is not within the Low Voltage Directive. The power supply for the equipment is a switch mode power supply which has an input of 100-240V AC and an output of 12V DC. It is CE marked, double insulated, GS marked and UL listed (E163743 8F35).
